Coldwell Banker Bain Releases Statement on Death of Longtime Broker Lorraine Ficken
Coldwell Banker Bain sadly announces that long-time broker Lorraine Ficken was one of the victims of a murder-suicide that took place in Sammamish yesterday.
Lorraine was a managing broker in the Coldwell Banker Bain of Issaquah office, and has practiced real estate since 1992.
Said Marilyn Green, the office’s principal managing broker, “We’re still in shock and our hearts and thoughts go out to Lorraine’s family and real estate team during this horrible time. Lorraine was one of the nicest people we’ve ever known – so kind and warm-hearted. She was one of our top producers, and served her clients without fault. We have been hearing from so many clients who are in tears over this tragedy. It is a huge loss for so many and Lorraine will be greatly missed.”
Lorraine was a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), the Highest Designation Earned by Realtors in Residential Sales, a Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Corporate Relocation Certified, and a USAA Real Estate Rewards Network broker. She was very active in the Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, and very well known throughout the Providence Point community.
Green added, “Lorraine was starting to look toward retirement next year and had recently purchased a home in Oregon near her family. She was so excited… we are simply heartsick over the loss.”
